NEW YORK — April 21, 2022 — Law & Forensics LLC announces that Senior Partner David Cass has been named President of CISOs Connect, an exclusive international community of Chief Information Security Officers and cybersecurity subject matter experts. The appointment was announced by CISOs Connect CEO Aimee Rhodes.
CISOs Connect is one of the world's leading peer-engagement communities for senior security leaders, with more than 500 CISOs and security experts as members at the time of Cass's appointment. The organization is dedicated to education, networking, and intelligence sharing across the global cybersecurity community.
In his role as President, Cass leads the organization's peer-engagement efforts, ensuring that programming and resources address the evolving strategic, regulatory, and operational needs of Chief Information Security Officers. His selection brings to the role extensive experience at the intersection of financial services regulation, cryptocurrency, cloud security, and enterprise risk management.
Prior to joining CISOs Connect, Cass served as a lead regulator for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and was a member of the Large Institution Supervision Coordinating Committee (LISCC). He also served as Senior Director of Information Security Risk and Governance for Freddie Mac, Vice President of Risk Management for JPMorgan Chase, and SVP & Chief Information Security Officer for Elsevier. Cass is a frequent speaker at RSA Conference, DefCon, Money 20/20, and other high-profile industry events, and serves as Adjunct Faculty at Harvard University and Rutgers Law School.
