In memoriam

William R. Spernow
Chief Forensic Officer, Law & Forensics
Bill Spernow served as Chief Forensic Officer of Law & Forensics. He came to the firm after leading information security, investigations, and incident response at Experian, the world's largest consumer reporting agency, and before that worked as an eDiscovery and forensic litigation expert with LECG's Digital Evidence Solutions Group. He was previously Chief Information Security Officer for the Georgia Student Finance Commission, and advised Fortune 500 companies throughout his career. He was based in Atlanta.
His expertise ran from the strategic to the deeply hands-on — intrusion detection, content monitoring, HIPAA and GLBA compliance, authentication and biometrics, cyber investigations, forensic analysis, and incident response. He was a Master Instructor for the California Department of Justice, and taught for much of his career.
