Phase 4: Final Audit Report and Presentation to Leadership
In Phase 4 of the Independent Cybersecurity Audit, Law and Forensics delivers a detailed final audit report memorandum and presentation that provides a clear overview of the organization’s cybersecurity posture, with recommendations for strategic improvements and risk management.
Comprehensive Memorandum
The Law and Forensics team produces a final audit memorandum that presents the audit results, highlighting key findings, areas of concern (including materiality issues), and recommendations for improvement leveraging the data collected from the simulated cybersecurity scenarios.
The memorandum:
- Provides the organization’s Legal Counsel, C-suite, and Board with a clear understanding of the organization’s cybersecurity posture, enabling informed decision-making for strategic improvements and risk management.
- Ensures that legal counsel and the board are fully apprised of the organization’s cybersecurity risks (including identification of any material risks), the cybersecurity landscape, and a heat map that sets out the cybersecurity risks and issues identified by the Cybersecurity Audit.
- Validates the organization’s legal and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrates active oversight from the Board and senior executives.
